Wet Lips have unveiled the details of their debut self titled LP, out June 9 on Hysterical Records and available for pre-order now. They celebrate with the release of new single, “Here If You Need”; a track about “being a woman in a social situation. About the obligations you feel to be polite, respectful, small, restrained, not be seen to be greedy or attention seeking,” notes, Grace Kindellan.

Inspired Grace’s younger sister as “she became an adult and had to go through the ordeal of being ignored, made fun of, sexually harassed and just not given a shit about,” she couldn’t volunteer as tribute, or go through it for her, but she could make sure she knew that she was always there to answer her calls and come and get her whenever she needed.

 

 

The trio will also be supporting The Peep Tempel for an already sold out show at Abbotsford Convent on May 19.
