Due to overwhelming demand, cult serial podcast WELCOME TO NIGHT VALE will add a second Melbourne date to its 2018 Australian tour, a bonus live performance of an entirely different show. The national tour of Welcome to Night Vale’s newest live show, ALL HAIL starring Cecil Baldwin, with special guests and live music by Disparition – will be performed in Melbourne on Friday, February 9.

Welcome to Night Vale is a twice-monthly serial podcast that has developed a loyal and dedicated following since its inception in 2012. Written by Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor, it brings its listeners stories from the strange desert town of Night Vale in the form of a community radio show hosted by Cecil Palmer (played by Cecil Baldwin).

 
It is a rich and nuanced drama complete with local news, announcements from the Sheriff’s Secret Police, mysterious lights in the night sky, dark-hooded figures with unknowable powers and cultural events. Welcome to Night Vale has become one of the most popular podcasts in the world.

Now Melbourne fans have a unique chance to see GHOST STORIES, last year’s hit Welcome to Night Vale live show, at the Comedy Theatre on Saturday, February 10.
