Mansfield’s favourite sons Violent Soho deliver another emotive punching tune with ‘Canada’ lifted from their fifth studio album Everything Is A-OK – out now.

A band comfortable in their own skin, Violent Soho create an escape from reality while embracing the beauty in real everyday surroundings. Dripping in their trademark punk rock style, ‘Canada’ is reflective and humble, while soaked in Luke Boerdam’s quick-witted iconic drawling vocal. Boerdam recalls how the riff evoked a desire to escape to Canada, away from the doom and gloom scenarios he witnessed in his every day. “I guess the main guitar riff just got me reminiscing of a holiday – and all the times we toured through Canada, and it being some last remaining outpost – It’s always been like home but at the opposite end of the world.”
