THE ONE HUNDRED‘s debut album CHAOS & BLISS hits stores this Friday June 2! The 12 tracks – including lead UK single / video ‘Dark Matters’ and follow-up ‘Monster’ will be available on CD, DL & LP, with the latter featuring bonus song ‘Temples’ .
A genre-defying and bending outfit, The One Hundred‘s album promises to put them on the map with heavy music fans in Australia and will surely put them in high demand for on-ground touring here, having already graced the stage in the UK and Europe with festival sets at Sonisphere,Reading and Leeds, plus Download and Slam Dunk Festivals, while tours with artists as varied as Hacktivist, Papa Roach, Mötley Crüe, Alice Cooper, Crossfaith and We Came As Romans have cemented their reputation as a phenomenal live band.
“When you’re in the metalcore genre,” says vocalist Jacob Field, “there are all these rules you have to follow. So when we started doing this, we said ‘Sod that!’ If we don’t brand ourselves as anything, then no-one will have expectations as to what we should or shouldn’t sound like. No-one was telling us how to do this, so we ended up just writing for ourselves. We wanted to pioneer our own genre, to do whatever we felt like and to step outside the comfort zone of what’s expected.”
Pre-orders for the album are now live, including signed items and merchandising bundles, with ‘Monster’ being offered as an ‘instant grat’ – Pre-orders can be accessed at: https://caroline.lnk.to/Chaos-Bliss
