Sydney-based punk trio, Reality Instructors announce their forthcoming EP, “The Timeless Threat of…” out June 30 via the band’s own imprint, Eternal Memos. They also share the lead single, “I’m Enrolled”, a song which Eve Lande wrote for fellow band member and partner, Dan Pash “knowing it would be the last one I would write for him where he could maybe half-hear what I had written”, she explains. Its hypnotic rhythm section builds the foundation for “I’m Enrolled”, while Eve’s striking emotion swirls throughout as she becomes open to a radically different future.

With guitarist and co-songwriter Dan Pash’s hearing vanishing at a rate faster than the process of writing, recording and performing has allowed, their forthcoming EP, The Timeless Threat of… serves as a document of the final stages of Dan’s hearing loss. It radiates power and bravery and offers up an inspiring example of what is possible in the realm of songwriting and recording when faced with profound deafness.
