He has shared the bill with many great artists, including International acts (Gary Clarke Jnr, Tony Joe White, Canned Heat, the New Power Generation) and local artists (Ian Moss, The Whitlams, Russel Morris, Diesel, Mojo Juju).
Johnny G & the E Types – Women of Soul Revue. Johnny G & the E Types present this unmissable tribute to legendary women of soul – Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Dusty Springfield, Mavis Staples, Laura Lee and many more. The sensational Sarina Jennings will showcase the classics in what is undoubtedly Sydney’s premier soul show, and the seven-piece band will have you dancing all afternoon like it’s Memphis 1967.
Wes Pudsey & The Sonic Aces. In a career spanning more than 1500 live performances, three world tours and six successful releases, Wes has made a name for himself across the globe writing songs now considered modern Rockabilly classics – My Baby Looks Like Betty Page, Maybe, There’s Gonna Be A Rumble and more. Backed by his frenetic trio of roots-rockers The Sonic Aces, expect a blistering performance.
Toni & the Rhythm Cats are inspired by the raw sounds of 40s and 50s rockabilly, blues, and honky tonk. These cool Cats have a fun-loving attitude, and their on-stage antics and audience interaction have earned them a dedicated following. They get the crowd hoppin’ with a mix of originals and rock’n’roll standards from the likes of Johnny Cash, Wanda Jackson, Johnny Burnett and Carl Perkins.
