2. Dashboard Confessional – All the Truth That I Can Tell : Chris Carrabba has stolen our hearts yet again. Delivering hands down his most personal album.
3. State Champs – Kings of the New Age : This album has elevated them to the new reigning kings of the pop punk scene. Full of upbeat summer party anthems.
4. Armor For Sleep – The Rain Museum : The beloved emo rockers returned giving us their first new album in 15 years. Dreamy songs striking a balance between feelings of nostalgia and a new freshness to the band.
5. Slash – 4 (featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators) : Slash’s signature guitar style combines again effortlessly with the perfect vocal tone of Myles Kennedy. Driving guitar riffs topped of by solid songwriting is enough to fill any rock fans appetite.
6. Ozzy Osbourne – Patient Number 9 : A devilish collection of new songs from the prince of darkness. Reuniting with guitarist Zakk Wylde and guests throughout included Jeff Beck, Tony Iommi and Eric Clapton.
7. Panic! At the Disco – Viva Las Vengeance : Brendon Urie takes us on a musical and at times cinematic journey through his career. An ode to the bright lights of Las Vegas. A city that always seems to threaten you with a good time.
8. Silverstein – Misery Made Me : The Canadian screamo rockers continue to make us smile in our sleep. An album with a dark heavy undertone from a band looking to challenge their sound.
9. PUP – THE UNRAVELING OF PUPTHEBAND : A catchy and cynical self reflective album from the Canadian punk rockers. The songs were just as mind blowing as the album covert art.
10. Billy Talent – Crisis of Faith : This album was a welcome return from the Canadian alternative rockers. The tracks were heavily inspired by the global events of the past few years and the album even features Weezer front man Rivers Cuomo.
