Satellites are today rolling out new song ‘Thread’ and unleashing details about ‘Black Dog’, their new EP, produced by Troy Brady. New single ‘Thread’ premiered on the radio Wednesday night on triple j’s Short Fast Loud, and pre-orders for the EP go live next Friday at iTunes for a Friday September 29threlease date. The single will be available on Monday on Spotify.

Vocalist Mitch Chamberlain gave his thoughts on how the single’s themes and lyrics came about. “‘Thread’ is about my struggle to come to terms with the fact that I may just have to accept the mould that society has chosen for me. Maybe I was never presented with the opportunity, or maybe, I just didn’t have the guts to do what needed to be done to get where I wanted to be. And maybe now I’ve run out of time.”
