The Chili Peppers’ love and respect for George Clinton goes back more than three decades with the P-Funk legend producing the band’s early funk period album, 1985’s Freaky Styley.
George Clinton will be saying a Funk-a-thon farewell to the land down under as he returns to play his last ever Australian tour this April. Together with Parliament Funkadelic, George Clinton will headline shows in the Enmore Theatre, Sydney on April 20 and The Forum, Melbourne on April 25 around his performance for the 30 th Anniversary Bluesfest.
Live Nation has worked with Red Hot Chili Peppers’ production team in making it possible to release additional tickets for most shows.A final 500 tickets will be released for all Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane shows, as well as 200 tickets in Hobart.
In Perth and at Hope Estate, Hunter Valley, there will also be a final release of general admission tickets.
