Brisbane’s OF MISERY are today announcing the release of their new single CONSUMED from their forthcoming EP BLACK NOOSE. Down-Tempo and Bone Crushingly HEAVY, Of Misery blend the aggression of deathcore and the emotion of hard-core in their music. Their lyrics deal with subjects such as depression, anxiety, denial, bullying, and abuse. 

 

Drummer Cai Cardenas from the band said that the release has a lot of significance for the band. “We have put our all into this release and we can’t be more ecstatic about the results. We hope that the discussion around the topics contained helps those suffering depression and mental health issues make sense of their world around them – as we know that the making of this world helped us make sense of the grief and loss of loved ones to this affliction.”

The Black Noose EP will see its release into the world on Friday, August 10th.
