Jess Kent’s pop ascendency continues as the uber-talented singer songwriter reveals the video for her catchy track, TROLLS, a song reminiscent of early M.I.A. and Lily Allen, complete with reggae twist.
Featuring the lines “This one’s for all you little shits, You know I love you all to bits, Cos you’re just trying to get your fix, Hiding behind those fingertips”, TROLLS is Kent’s statement about the prevalence of trolls on social media.
Shot in Los Angeles with Director Jamie Martinez, the video is an ode to girl power, standing strong and taking it all in your stride!
Discussing the video, Jess said today, “I was so excited to work with Jamie Martinez because I’m such a fan of his .gifs with M.I.A. I loved how fun and carefree we were when we shot the video – I hope it gets the point across that Trolls are simply not worth your time or energy!”
TROLLS is the follow up to last year’s ear worm, ‘The Sweet Spot’ and 2015’s debut, ‘Get Down’, which has chalked up more than 2.1 million streams on Spotify.
