Lavisher is a rock order from Chicago whose punishing riffs and time-bending grooves draw frequent comparisons to A Perfect Circle and Queens of the Stone Age.

Both are major influences on its darkly uplifting songwriting, whose minimalist poetry is pierced with stabs of furious virtuosity. Front-man and principal songwriter Gavin Cushman III softens the hard edges with restrained, melodic vocals while drummer Idin Alexander slams rhythms into a calculated oblivion.
