CROWDED HOUSE have today announced 7 new Dreamers Are Waiting Australiantour dates for this October and November, the acclaimed band adding to their recently rescheduled shows as the tour continues to grow.

These new shows include Darwin Convention Centre on 29 October, Cairns Convention Centre on November 1, Townsville Entertainment Centre on November 3, A Day On The Green at Sirromet Wines, Mt Cotton on November 5, WIN Sports & Entertainment Centre, Wollongong on November 8, Sydney’s Aware Super Theatre on November 9, and Tamworth Entertainment Centre on November 15.

The band’s previously postponed Canberra show will move to a new venue, Stage 88, on Friday November 11. Existing ticket holders will have their tickets refunded and have access to the previous purchaser pre-sale, which runs from 9.00am today until 9.00am on Monday, June 6.

The Live Nation pre-sale for all new shows excluding Mt Cotton commences Tuesday, May 31 at 12.00pm, concluding Thursday, June 2 at 12.00pm, with general public tickets on sale from 1.00pm on Thursday, June 2.

For the rescheduled Canberra event, the Live Nation pre-sale commences Monday, June 6 at 10.00am, concluding on Tuesday, June 7 at 10.00am. General public tickets go on sale on Tuesday, June 7, at 11.00am.

A Day On The Green at Sirromet Wines, Mt Cotton pre-sale commences on Thursday, June 2 at 1.00pm for 24 hours, with general public tickets on sale from 2.00pm on Friday, June 3.

These additional dates have been added to an extensive itinerary which includes A Day On The Green shows at Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley on November 12 and Mt Duneed, Geelong on November 19, with Hobart’s MyState Arena now scheduled for November 17 and Perth’s three shows at Kings Park & Botanic Garden running from November 25 – 27.

The band’s April Dreamers Are Waiting Australian tour datesplayed to full houses, rapturous audiences, and widespread critical acclaim, including a star turn at Bluesfest during Easter. The Guardian said, “A joyous and long-awaited return”, The Age stated, “Half concert, half singalong, Crowded House filled the Bowl with love” and The Advertiser Adelaide proclaimed, “There’s a commitment to the purity of pop, the marriage of lyric and chord to create something close to perfect.”

It is only the band’s third Australian tour during the last 15 years.
