Ahead of their ‘Freezing In The Sun’ East Coast tour, Melbournian hellions CLOWNS drop one more distortion drenched, fast and furious single titled ‘I Shaved My Legs For You’, which will be their final offering before heading into the studio to record their 4th full length album.

‘I Shaved My Legs For You’ is at its heart, a love song. The kind of love that exists all around us in romances, work places, family homes and yet under our noses; taboo, forbidden and omnipresent. Coupled with it’s frenetic performance based videoclip (directed by Aidan McDonald at Walking Moustache and filmed behind a factory door as the songs chorus would suggest) the chances are high for this song to become a hit in the pit this summer during upcoming festival performances at Unify Gathering, Festival of The Sun and Shaka Fest.

Supported by VOIID; A band formed in a bedroom, resonating with each other’s mutual interest of all that is female and screaming profanity. Coming together in a wine-fuelled haze to annoy the neighbours with thrashed garage punk noise, they are guaranteed to make your face melt and your boyfriend cry.

Tickets for the September tour are on sale now, in the interim check out the latest video for new single ‘Freezing In The Sun’ directed by the team at Walking Moustache, the vid features cameos from Wayne “Slatts” Slattery from King Parrot, Nikki Brumen from Pagan and comedian Johnathan Schuster and of course all the Clowns band members!
