Not all ska bands are created equal. Not all ska beef lasts forever. Almost 20 years in the making, AREA 7 & THE PORKERS are finally playing together again. A rare opportunity has come about to re-unite two of Australia’s greatest ska-punk bands of all time for a co-headline show & it’s taking place at Manning Bar, Sydney Uni,
Not seen sharing a stage together since 1999’s Homebake or Livid festival, depending on who you speak to. Consider this a warm up for the “Schooner or Later” Harbour Cruise the following day, and trust us when we say “warm up”, as these guys will have everyone at Manning Bar maniacally moving around.&
We’ve decided to do doors early for this one at 6pm and really open up the cans of Australian ska nostalgia. Supporting will be Canberra’s LOS CAPITANES, who couldn’t pass up the opportunity for another re-union gig after a sell out harbour cruise, Sydney’s BAGSTER & THE MAD DASH are back for VERY rare shows, and CHRIS DUKE & THE ROYALS are picking it up for only the 2nd time in 2018.
Set your alarms for this one, because tickets are sure to move fast. On sale Monday September 10th at 9am from www.oztix.com.au.
