Fresh off the back of their sold out headlining show at Cherry Bar, saying goodbye to their last EP ‘My Old Friend’, Melbourne’s Aburden today share the first taste of their most honest and impassioned effort yet, ‘The Last Goodbye’. Available October 12th through Greyscale Records, with pre-orders available HERE..

“We are so pleased to be able to present our brand new EP, ‘The Last Goodbye’.” Elates guitarist/vocalist Kyle Burrows. “Having spent a year and a half writing and recording, we present what we believe is our most ambitious and mature step yet. ‘The Last Goodbye’ is an unabridged look into the lives of Aburden; sharing our vulnerabilities, struggling with grief and mental illness. We want this to be seen as a helping hand, so collectively you see that you are not alone. That we are not alone. ‘It’s okay not to be okay’.”

“This is a story about my youth, but this one’s mostly for you…”

Aburden have invested their hearts and souls into this release, and in Burrows‘ words, this is just the beginning. “We are so excited for what is to come. Everything has gone so fast and we couldn’t be more nervous. We hope that we will be able to help those in need in the exact way that the music that influences us helped us through our battles with mental illness. We have been waiting patiently throughout 2018 as we worked on this EP and we can’t wait for the hell of a ride that 2019 will be.”
